The first session is an opportunity for us to begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship, explore what brings you to therapy, discuss your current concerns, and identify goals for our work together. We will also take time to answer any questions you may have about the counseling process. There is no expectation to share everything right away. Therapy is a process, and we will move at a pace that feels comfortable and supportive for you.
